Cameron Butler Wooten holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University. She received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies & a minor in Psychology from Auburn University. Cameron has completed clinical internships at Peachford Behavioral Health and Hope Counseling Center working with adolescents, adults, and families. Cameron has experience working as a Case Manager at Peachford Behavioral Health, working with adolescents, children, and adults.
She has earned a specialization in Spirituality and Counseling, teaching her how to properly integrate Christian faith in the therapy process. Cameron is equipped to offer Christian Counseling. At the time of a client’s initial visit, Cameron will discuss what Christian Counseling is and the client can choose to participate in faith-based counseling or the client can elect to not have spirituality/religion as a part of their psychotherapy treatment. Cameron offers the choice to the client.
Currently, Cameron enjoys seeing clients as a member of a private practice, Foundation Counseling in Marietta, GA. She is licensed by the State of Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC008573) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Cameron is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
